The German Advertising Film Academy was established in June 2013 as an autonomous and independent organisation.
Our members, producers (from the Advertising Section of the German Producers Alliance) and previous winners and nominees of the German Advertising Film Awards come from every creative corner of the marketing film environment.
The academy offers all its members and interested parties a platform for ideas, vision, discussion and innovation and is also a source for training and promotion for up and coming filming talent.
Organisation of the annual German Advertising Film Awards, DWA New Talent Awards and the DWA Speed Recruiting event are the primary tasks of the academy.
In addition, the academy holds seminars, assigns its speakers to external seminars and is the main point of contact for universities that offer degree courses within the commercial marketing film sphere.
