The Academy launched the Artificial Intelligence Creativity Award (AICA) in 2026 to recognise innovative creative work involving generative AI. The competition is held independently of the German Advertising Film Awards (DWP), and the award is presented as part of the Creative Panel.

The work showcases the creative potential of generative AI, demonstrating how human imagination and artificial intelligence can combine to unlock entirely new visual possibilities.
