Established in 2013, the German Advertising Film Academy is an independent, non-profit organization based in Munich.
Our community brings together producers from the Production Alliance – Commercials Section, recipients and nominees of the German Advertising Film Awards, and distinguished producers and artists invited to join the Academy. Together, they represent the diverse creative talent behind commercial filmmaking.

One of the Academy’s key responsibilities is organizing its annual events, including the German Advertising Film Award - DWP, the Christian Köster Emerging Talent Award, and Speed Recruiting.
Stronger together
The Academy provides a platform for its members and anyone interested in the industry. It is a place to share ideas and visions and to engage in discussions about innovation in the field of moving image production.
The Academy also serves as a hub for training and supporting emerging talent. We organize seminars, contribute speakers to external seminars, and are a first point of contact for universities offering degree programs in commercial moving image production.
