4. Cookies, Similar Technologies and Consent Management
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage, where this is necessary for the operation of the website, the provision of specific functionalities, or the integration of optional services.

We use technically necessary cookies and similar technologies where required to provide the website, ensure its security, or store your privacy preferences. This may include, in particular, storing your selections made through our consent management tool. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing a functional, secure, and privacy-compliant website. Where the storage of or access to information on your terminal device is strictly necessary, such processing is carried out pursuant to Section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).

In such cases, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where information is stored on or accessed from your terminal device, Section 25(1) TDDDG.

We use a consent management tool to manage your consent preferences. This tool enables you to decide whether optional services may be used and stores your preferences accordingly. Optional services are disabled by default and are activated only after you have actively selected them or consented to the relevant category. Technically necessary services cannot be disabled where they are essential for the operation of the website.

You may withdraw your consent or modify your preferences at any time with future effect. A permanently accessible link to the privacy settings is available on our website for this purpose.
